Neighbors One Town Over, Ready When a Machine Stalls

A coffee shop owner knows within minutes when the espresso-bar reach-in starts warming, and a salon manager knows the moment the towel washer quits mid-load. PointLine is a family-owned company with a single office in Superior, a short drive from Louisville, and commercial repair is a core part of what we do. We work on the machines that keep a business moving: ranges and ovens, refrigeration, ice machines, dish machines and commercial laundry.

Every commercial visit starts with a $85 diagnostic, and that fee is credited toward the repair if you approve the work. Before any work begins, your technician tests the equipment, tells you in plain terms what went wrong and hands you a firm quote. We install genuine OEM parts and back the job with a 90-day parts and labor warranty. We'll be upfront about one limit: fryers, kitchen exhaust hoods and fire-suppression systems are not something we repair, so you won't sit waiting on a call we can't take.

Who We Work With

Louisville Businesses We Work With

Our commercial service fits any operation whose day depends on cold storage, reliable heat, clean dishes or clean laundry.

  • Restaurants, Cafes and Bars

When a kitchen gets slammed, every weak spot shows itself at once: a burner that takes three tries to light, a prep table creeping above a safe temperature, or a dish machine that just can't keep up. We repair the cooking, cooling, ice and dishwashing equipment behind your line, from a single cafe in Historic Downtown Louisville to a larger kitchen elsewhere in town.

  • Offices and Break Rooms

Nobody owns a shared kitchen, and nobody keeps an eye on it, so a refrigerator can drift warm or an ice maker can stop producing for days before someone mentions it. We fix the staff refrigerator, the ice machine and the small dishwasher by the coffee station without turning the repair into a project for your office manager.

  • Property Managers and Multifamily Buildings

We fix both the everyday household refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers and dryers found in rental units and the commercial machines that often sit in shared laundry rooms. Owners and managers who want a steady, organized way to handle appliance calls across several units can use our dedicated property management service.

  • Other Businesses

Clinics, churches, schools, studios, gyms and salons don't often see themselves as equipment-heavy, but a washer running towels all day, a dryer that's falling behind, a staff refrigerator or a small kitchen used for gatherings may be working much harder than its size would suggest. If a machine on your property has stopped doing its job, we can look at it.

What We Repair

Equipment We Fix and the Spots Where It Tends to Fail

Below you'll find the commercial equipment we repair, including refrigerant and sealed-system work and compressor replacement, plus the usual trouble spots for each unit and how we go about fixing them.

  • Cooking Equipment: Ranges, Griddles, Charbroilers, and Convection and Deck Ovens

    What fails
Common culprits include spark igniters that click but never light, worn pilot parts and thermocouples, thermostats that don't match the true oven temperature, safety valves that won't open, convection fan motors that drag, and door gaskets that let heat escape.
    What we do
We start by testing ignition and gas flow, then compare the real temperature inside the oven cavity with what the dial says, check the valves and controls, and replace only the part that fails its test.
    Restaurant Equipment Repair
  • Prep Tables, Freezers, and Reach-In and Undercounter Refrigeration

    What fails
Condenser coils matted with grease and dust, fan motors that have stalled, door gaskets torn at the corners, defrost heaters or controls that have stopped working and thermostats that misjudge the cabinet temperature
    What we do
Prior to quoting any repair, we inspect or clean the condenser, record temperatures and pressures, and test the fans along with the defrost circuit.
    Commercial Refrigeration Repair
  • Walk-In Coolers and Freezers

    What fails
Evaporator coils iced over solid, defrost timers or heaters that have failed, door closers and strip curtains that allow warm air to rush in, slow refrigerant leaks, and compressors approaching the end of their working life
    What we do
First we figure out whether the cold is getting out through the door, the defrost cycle or the sealed system, and then, based on the test results, we fix the leak, replace the part or install a new compressor.
    Commercial Refrigeration Repair
  • Ice Machines

    What fails
Scale on the evaporator, a water filter that's long overdue, sticky inlet valves, harvest or bin sensors that read wrong, and condensers choked with dust can each show up as thin cubes, slow production, drips or an empty bin.
    What we do
We check water flow along with the freeze and harvest cycles, swap out failed valves and sensors, and walk you through the cleaning the manufacturer requires.
    Commercial Refrigeration Repair
  • Dish Machines and Glasswashers, Including Booster Heaters

    What fails
Booster elements that build up scale or burn out, final rinse water that falls short of full temperature, plugged wash and rinse arms, pumps and solenoids that stick, gauges that have stopped reading accurately and chemical lines that lose their prime
    What we do
At the machine itself, we check wash and rinse temperatures, test the pumps, valves and heater, and review the chemical feed and gauges.
    Commercial Dishwasher Repair
  • Commercial Washers and Dryers

    What fails
Noisy bearings, blocked drain pumps, failing door locks, erratic control boards, and dryers that run hot from lint-choked exhaust or lose heat because of a weak igniter, gas valve or element
    What we do
We skip the guesswork based on symptoms: we run complete cycles, test the failed circuit or part, check the exhaust path, and then make the repair.
    Commercial Laundry Repair

We don't service fryers, kitchen exhaust hoods or fire-suppression systems. For everything else, call (720) 285-3573 with the make and model.

Equipment Down?

When a Machine Quits Mid-Shift

The first half hour after a failure shapes how much product you save and how quickly we can narrow down the fault, and these general steps help in nearly every case without opening a panel.

  1. 1

    Protect the Product

Set a probe thermometer in the warmest part of the cooler or freezer, and jot down the reading along with the time. Shift perishable food into units that are still cold, and keep the failed unit's doors closed so the cold stays in as long as it can.

  2. 2

    Rule Out Power and Water

Check for a tripped breaker, a loose plug, a disconnect that's been switched off, or a GFCI outlet that needs to be reset. With ice and dish machines, make sure the water supply valve is open and the line isn't kinked.

  3. 3

    Photograph the Data Plate

You can usually find the model and serial number plate on the door frame, inside a door, on the back panel or behind a lower grille. A clear photo lets us identify the machine and plan the right parts before we arrive.

  4. 4

    Reach Out With the Details

Book online or call or text (720) 285-3573 with the make, model and serial number, what the equipment is doing and anything you have already tried. Same-day visits are often possible, but we won't promise one until we know your schedule and what's wrong.

Health Inspection Ready

What the Food Code Expects From Your Machines

Colorado's retail food rules are based on the FDA Food Code, and several of its requirements rest directly on equipment doing its job.

  • 41°F

    Cold Holding

Refrigerated food has to be held at 41°F or colder. A reach-in, prep table or walk-in that cannot hold that number is more than an inconvenience, and it is worth a repair call before the next inspection.

  • 135°F

    Hot Holding

Hot food has to be held at 135°F or hotter. Ovens, ranges and warming equipment that run below their setting can quietly undermine that requirement.

  • 180°F

    Dish Machine Sanitizing

On high-temperature dish machines, the final sanitizing rinse has to hit at least 180°F at the manifold, or 165°F on single-temperature, stationary-rack machines. Each dish machine needs working temperature gauges and a data plate, and chemical sanitizing machines have to maintain the concentration printed on the sanitizer label.

  • Ice Machine Cleaning

Under the Food Code, ice is food, and ice machines must be cleaned. When a machine is slowing down or leaking, it is a good moment to ask your technician about cleaning it the way the manufacturer specifies.

Louisville Businesses

Local Conditions Your Equipment Works In

Some conditions in Louisville put particular demands on the commercial machines that run here.

  • Gas Equipment at About 5,400 Feet

At higher elevations, gas cooking appliances may call for a high-altitude setup per the manufacturer, and Louisville sits roughly 5,400 feet above sea level. A range, griddle or oven that was tuned for lower ground can burn with a lazy or yellow flame here, and it deserves a look if heat output seems off. Water also boils at a lower temperature at this elevation, which changes how steam and boiling equipment behave.

  • Rebuilt Spaces and Brand-New Appliances

The Marshall Fire in December 2021 destroyed 553 homes in Louisville and damaged 45 more, and many of those properties have since been rebuilt with brand-new appliances. New machines can still need service, because installation settings, water supply connections and early control faults are not unusual in equipment of any age. If you manage rebuilt rental units or a rebuilt property with a kitchen or laundry area, we repair the machines whether they are new or long established.

  • Historic Downtown and the Roads Between Us

Historic Downtown Louisville is where Steinbaugh Pavilion sits, and its older commercial buildings often come with tight kitchens, cramped utility closets and equipment that was installed long ago. We reach Louisville businesses from our Superior office by US-36, CO-42 and the Northwest Parkway, and we serve the 80027 ZIP code along with nearby Lafayette, Superior, Broomfield, Erie, Boulder and Northglenn.

How It Works

Our Commercial Visit, Start to Finish

One call, a clear diagnosis and a firm number before we touch anything.

  1. 01

    Tell Us What Is Happening

Book online or call or text (720) 285-3573 with the equipment type, the make and model if you have them and what you are seeing. We will arrange a visit that fits your hours so repair work disrupts your service as little as possible.

  2. 02

    Testing on Site

Depending on the machine, your technician takes readings such as temperatures, pressures, voltage and gas flow, and narrows things down to the part that has truly failed. The $85 diagnostic covers this work and is credited toward the repair if you go ahead.

  3. 03

A Firm Price Before Work Begins

Before any part is ordered or installed, you learn what failed, why it happened and the exact cost of the repair. The decision stays with you.

  4. 04

    Repair, Verify and Warranty

We put in genuine OEM parts and stay with the job until the equipment heats, cycles or holds temperature just as it should. Every repair carries a 90-day parts and labor warranty.

Preventive Maintenance

Regular Care That Heads Off the Next Breakdown

Clean condenser coils are some of the cheapest protection a commercial kitchen can buy, because grease and dust force a compressor to run long and hot. Door gaskets merit a regular check as well, because a split or hardened seal lets warm air in and quietly pushes cabinet temperatures up. Ice machines should be cleaned on the schedule the manufacturer lists, and the water filter replaced when it is due, so scale does not build up on the evaporator and slow production.

In the dish room, mineral scale gathers on heating elements and narrows the rinse jets until the final rinse can't get hot enough, so deliming on a regular schedule is well worth the effort. On the laundry side, lint is the enemy: clean the lint screen daily, and have the dryer vent run checked so airflow stays strong and the dryer does not overheat. None of this requires a contract, and we are happy to point out what to watch for while we are already on site.

Louisville Business Owners' Questions, Answered

Straight answers for Louisville restaurant owners, office and facility managers.

Still have a question?

Give us a call — we'll be glad to help.

(720) 285-3573

Which ZIP code do you cover for Louisville businesses?

We serve Louisville's 80027 ZIP code. We reach you from our office in Superior by US-36, CO-42 or the Northwest Parkway.

Can you work on equipment in Historic Downtown Louisville?

Yes, we repair commercial equipment in Historic Downtown Louisville. Older buildings often mean tight spaces and installations from long ago, so let us know about access when you book.

Can you repair walk-ins that have refrigerant leaks or failing compressors?

Yes, compressor replacement and refrigerant and sealed-system work are all part of what we do. Your technician finds where the cold is being lost first, then explains the repair before you decide.

Does our elevation have any effect on gas cooking equipment?

Quite possibly, because Louisville sits at about 5,400 feet, and gas appliances at higher elevations may need a high-altitude setup according to the manufacturer. If a burner flame looks lazy or yellow, or heat output seems off, have it checked.

Do you repair fryers, or the hood above our cooking line?

No, fryers, kitchen exhaust hoods and fire-suppression systems are not something we work on. We do repair the ranges, ovens, griddles, refrigeration, ice machines, dish machines and laundry equipment found around them.

Do the $85 diagnostic and the warranty apply to businesses?

Yes, the same terms apply to commercial work. The $85 diagnostic is credited toward the repair if you approve it, you get a firm quote first, and the repair carries a 90-day parts and labor warranty.

We manage rentals that were rebuilt after the Marshall Fire. Can you help?

Yes, we repair appliances in new and long-established rentals alike. Brand-new machines can still need service for installation or early control faults, and we also have a dedicated property management service for managers handling several units.

Which piece of equipment is holding your business back?

Book online or call or text (720) 285-3573, and your technician will test the equipment, explain the fault and give you a firm price before any work begins.
